That means each employee working in your home or business has been vetted by the state of Texas and passed the background check requirements. John Howell- Owner
I started Pro-TechT in 2004 with the goal of providing the highest level of customer service that meets the individual needs of our clients in all we do. I have been in the industry for 20+ years and have worked in all levels of the industry from design to installation and management. My passions outside of work include involvement in our Church, coaching team sports and working with local and international charities to support their missions.
Jeff Meller- Sales and System Design
Jeff is a 10+ year member of the Pro-TechT team with a bachelors from DeVry Institute in computer and information technology. His technical background has advanced him over the years from a technician to the Operations Manager and now to his role in Sales and System Design. Outside of the office he spends time with his young family, loves to travel and enjoys working with his hands in construction and remodeling.
Brenda Baumgartner- Office Manager
Brenda has been with Pro-TechT for 10+ years as our Office Manager. Her role includes accounting, human resources and compliance for Pro-TechT Dallas and Austin. She came to us after a successful career in the healthcare and insurance industry and is an essential part of the team. Outside of the office she spends time with her family, working with her Church and volunteering with non-profit organizations.
Kent Howell- Operations Manager
Kent is the Operations Manager in the Dallas office. Previously, Kent had been working with Pro-TechT Austin since the branch opened in 2015. His role allows him to see projects from start to finish. That process includes the wiring, installation, and educating the customer on how to operate their systems. In his free time he loves to travel, visit friends and spend time with his family. He is always up for an adventure.
Matt Tranter- Project Manager/ Lead Tech
Matt is a long-time member of the Pro-TechT team. When he started with Pro-TechT in 2010, he began as a technician and over years has been promoted to his current role. He is a leader in the field and his responsibilities include training the other technicians and making sure client needs are met during installation. His young family keeps him busy, including his son who plays travel baseball at a high level.
Adam Cathey- Project Manager
Adam’s role as PM allows him to see a project from start to finish. He performs onsite inspections through the duration of the project and does photo documentation for future use. As our OSHA 30 rep he works with our installers on safe jobsite practices, ladder safety and compliance. His background in constructions gives him a great working knowledge of building process. Adam enjoys hunting, building projects, Church service projects and most of all spending time with his young family.
Pete Howell- Owner
Pete has been a successful business owner servicing the Austin area for 25+ years. He opened Pro-TechT Austin in 2014 with a goal of working from one satisfied customer to the next. Pro-TechT Austin is a joint venture with Dallas to bring the quality of our brand to that market. Pete has grown the company through hard work and excellent client relations. His passions outside of business encompass Church, his family and his love for the water.
Miguel Morin- Lead Tech Austin
Miguel has been a technician from the launch of our Austin location. His knowledge in installation and service has elevated his position to lead tech. He oversees all installations and helps manage the projects from start to finish. He enjoys working with technology and spending time off with friends.
